For the branding design of a traditional Korean restaurant, I drew inspiration from the intricate beauty of Dancheong, the decorative patterns found in traditional Korean architecture. By reinterpreting its delicate patterns and vibrant colors in a modern way, I created a unique visual identity that reflects both tradition and sophistication.

In particular, I incorporated Korea’s representative colors, the Obangsaek (blue, red, yellow, white, and black), to strengthen the brand’s identity. This harmonious blend of traditional hues conveys a sense of cultural authenticity while appealing to a global audience with a balanced and elegant aesthetic.
